Mindfulness can encompass so many things. One of the ways I practice mindfulness is what I put in and on my body. Since high school, I’ve been conscious of the products I’ve used, like makeup and body wash and lotion. I had an incredible mentor who taught me about the importance of using and consuming things that help your body, not harm it.
When I went to a Beautycounter party earlier this year, I heard this.
Isn’t this alarming? Beautycounter has a “never list” of products that they won’t even consider putting in their products. The desire of Beautycounter consultants is to get safe products in everyone’s hands. Products free of parabens and other harmful ingredients we rarely even think of.
I signed up to be a consultant because I love the vision and brand of Beautycounter. The products are packaged in a simple way, the products work and smell light and fresh, and (again) they’re safe.
This small step into entrepreneurial land is exciting to me. Hosting socials, meeting one-on-one with people and helping people live a little healthier is a fulfilling role I want to play in peoples’ lives. If you’re ready to look at how you can invest in a couple products (or a complete set!), visit my Beautycounter page on my blog. There’s a contact form where we can connect a little more if this is an avenue you want to pursue. 🙂
