The last six months, I’ve been in deeeeep conversations about creating a purposeful, core values-driven business. One that is soul-filled and capable of generating an incredible income.
I’ve talked to hundreds of women who feel stuck in the grind of business and don’t have a vision. They wanted freedom, but can’t seem to grasp how to attain it. They crave working with awesome people, but have no idea how to connect with them.
My friend, Whitney Warne, and I decided to create Brand Launch as a space for women to find clarity and purpose in their business through the lens of personal branding. Both of us have been doing personal branding for years (without really calling it that), to create projects, businesses, and ideas that are making a difference.
Personal branding isn’t marketing, it’s everything you (should) do before.
It’s creating the fire and then using marketing as fuel.
Through engaging seminars, luncheons, and weekend workshops, Brand Launch is a one-stop shop for you to build + leverage your personal brand for business growth. Here’s what we’re teaching:
1. Core Values
Who are you and what do you want to share with the world? One of my core values is positivity. If you do not experience that word when you are with or around me, I am doing something wrong. 😉 Everything I do, create, etc., is wrapped around positivity. I don’t surround myself with negativity and hopefully I repel it. Our Friday night seminar is all about core values and digging into what actually lives deep within you. Some of my other core values are: compassion, courage, and enthusiasm (literally tattoed on my neck).
2. Finding Your Audience
Who aligns with those core values? What you put out in the world should attract people who also align with those things. I knew when I built POP UP YOGA DSM, the audience I was going to focus on were women 20-55 who were new to yoga and had all body types. The market wasn’t doing a great job at finding a space for them, so we did incredible photo shoots with women of those ages and sizes for all of our marketing.
3. Creating Your Messages
If you know your core values, how do you create messages that compel people towards those things. It’s not about pitching your product or service, it’s living into those core values. If you can live that online + offline, people will want to be a part of that. Just think about the people you love and follow. If their message resonates with you, you’re likely a consumer of their products regardless of if they’re pitching it to/at you or not. If I share stories of women in FemCity who are building amazing businesses because they have invested their time and energy in showing up at our events, it shouldn’t be surprising that people who desire and align with what these women have accomplished will also show up.
This really excites Whitney and myself. My Friday Fives posts are a prime example of consistency. Whitney has a “Wednesdays with Whitney” and does not miss showing up for that. People expect an episode and she hasn’t missed a beat since she started. What is ONE thing you can do consistently that people can expect to see from you? People get so stressed out: “I can’t blog every week,” “I don’t have time to be on Instagram every day.” First of all, if you want anything bad enough you’ll do the work. 😉Secondly, if all the things stress you, pick one thing. That’s it. One.
5. Show Up
Similar to consistency, do you show up for people who might want to be a part of your business? Do you show up for your clients? Do you show up in your business when things are challenging? Show up, show up, show up. Be a light. Offer value to the world and go read The Go Giver while you’re at it.
Brand Launch is taking those five things (and a few more), and digging in so you leave with purpose, clarity, and confidence to kick some booty.
We designed it for women in business, but truly this is for any woman looking to build a really strong personal brand, which can be used in soooo many avenues of life.
Our first weekend seminar is February 23-24. We’re offering a promo code to anyone who connects with us personally and only have 22 spots open this round.
If this resonates even remotely, invest in yourself and consider the possibilities when you can see yourself and your vision for your life + business oh, so clearly.
