Friday Fives, 2.13.2026

Well, I was excited to tell you all about how I’m going to a fun little date night at the Ingersoll Theater but we recently realized we never actually bought the tickets, so for anyone I’ve hyped it to please don’t ask me how it went because it didn’t went. 🙃

1. My youngest is three, yippee! We had a Blippi themed party, meaning the cake was blue & orange and we had a happy birthday sign with Blippi on it. I love a theme and also do not love buying things I will really only use once!!!

2. Per my Next Thirty Days commitment I said I would run six times in February I’m two for six! And I didn’t hate it! The furthest I went was a mile, very very slowly but progress is progress right?

3. I cannot stop daydreaming about the Boundless Life program. Probably because it’s February in Iowa. Probably because I’m like the kids are only young once. Probably because I can truly work remote and don’t need to be stateside unless I’m speaking somewhere.

4. My mosaic is really coming along. Look, this Friday Fives weekly-ish post series might just become a weekly update on my progress and I’m fine with that. Because it’s next to impossible for me to live in the present, I’ve also decided I really want to needlepoint after I finish my mosaic class. I mean look at this design?!?!

5. I have never loved a nail color / design more than this. I see JNIE at Sunny Nails (rebrand recently) on Ingersoll and she is my gal through and through.

Eager to participate in Penelope’s “Friendship Party” at school — I’ve missed a lot of school things because of work so finally being able to show up really means a lot to me and her. 🥰
